In this modernist portrait, Crystal Chapotelle, Corporate Travel Consultant at Paull Travel, emerges from a composition of interlocking geometric forms. Warm shades of rust, ochre, sienna and umber divide the cubist-inspired portrait into carefully considered fragments, creating a modern interpretation of traditional portraiture. Though each shape stands independently, together they form a complete and ordered whole.

The structure of the painting reflects Crystal’s approach to corporate travel. Since joining Paull Travel in 2002, she has built her career around managing the countless moving parts of a journey with precision and efficiency. Flights, schedules, accommodations, and last-minute changes become pieces of a larger puzzle, each requiring careful attention before everything can fall neatly into place.

Crystal finds her own contrast in the outdoors. Her love of nature offers an escape from schedules and structure, replacing carefully arranged itineraries with open spaces and time spent outside. “The Natural Order” subtly brings these two sides together: an earthy palette recalls autumn leaves and natural landscapes, while strong geometry speaks to the organized, methodical nature of Crystal’s work.
