In this joyful portrait, Jalene E. Murphy, Leisure Travel Consultant at Paull Travel, is surrounded by white birds sweeping across an open blue sky. The restrained palette of turquoise, ivory and burnt orange lends the portrait the character of a vintage travel poster, while the birds bring a feeling of freedom and movement.

After more than 20 years as a travel advisor, Jalene’s adventures have carried her across all seven continents and to some of the world’s most far-flung corners. Her passion for expedition and adventure travel reflects her attraction to places that require a little more effort, curiosity, and adventurous spirit to reach.

“Flight of Fancy” is a fitting portrait of someone who has spent more than two decades turning ambitious ideas into reality. The portrait captures both the imagination behind the journeys Jalene creates and her own persistent pull toward somewhere new. The birds may be the ones in flight… but with seven continents already behind her, the viewer is right to assume that Jalene is never far behind.
